Well, that's nice. We should now update translations upstream so our
fixes can go to other distros as well.

OK, not a big deal. But I hope next cycle the work gets better
coordinated, Quantal has had too many UIFes :/

Hi Dylan,
as a translator I'll give my +1 because these changes are important,
but please let's avoid this the next cycle. UIFEs are really annoying
when happening this late, and don't expect us to have all translations
ready for release.

Hi fellow translators,
I’ve noticed that thanks to the always awesome Chris Coulson (kudos!),
the newly landed Firefox 20 update, as it includes per-window private
browsing, added a new quicklist entry to its Unity Launcher icon,
which is “Open a New Private Window”. [1]
I’ve already updated the

You mean the new transparent dialogs in Unity? Well, you’ll find the
strings in the unity package.

I think they both refer to the period the program will wait to refresh

Thanks, David, I’ve finished Spanish. Will there be more strings
available in the future? Right now, there are just fourteen… :-)

That would be because Trusty doesn’t use gnome-control-center anymore,
but a fork called unity-control-center, which was announced a while
back. You need to update translations in the latter to see the
application translated, as pointed out in the report.
Don’t worry, this is an LTS and translatio

I came across this string:

I think it should be marked as untranslatable, and was about to create
a branch to fix it, but I wonder if it should actually be
translatable. Any opinions or technica

Launchpad is a development platform, or a forge, which a developer may
use or not. There are developers who prefer to work with GitHub, and
that’s fine.

Well, the XFCE environment has not released a new version in ages, so
any localization effort likely won’t show up in your computers soon
(I’m tired of waiting myself).

Shouldn’t there be a way for Launchpad’s translation focus to change
automatically? As the change depends on some people with admin status,
the neglect is visible, as it has been for a couple of years now.

On Weblate, random people not belonging to ~ubuntu-l10n-es keep overwriting
proofread translations with their inferior versions.
