Hello Troy, or anyone else affected,
Accepted seabios into lucid-proposed. The package will build now and be
available at
http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/seabios/0.5.1-0ubuntu2.1 in a few
hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

The problem may have been that ubuntu-sru was unsubscribed. I've

Hi, I just noticed this bug and have 4 hypervisors affected by it. I
would be more than happy to test the SRU package from -proposed if
someone is kind enough to publish it there again. I will provide quick
test results.
Best regards,
Simon

@Serge Sorry for my long delay in responding. I still haven't had a
chance to test a 6 core Linux guest (the hardware in question doesn't
offer me much opportunity for downtime). Hopefully I'll be able to do it

@Troy: are you able to boot linux guests with 6 cpus with the seabios from

So long as that's the case, I'll request an SRU.

I was able to boot Server 2008 R2 and run with Maverick's seabios

I just added your PPA to our dual quad-processor system, and

it's SRU'd or the next LTS comes out.

I have been experimenting w/ Windows 2008 64-bit original release
