I don't think this is a detailed enough report to consider this a bug
yet, so I'll leave it marked Incomplete for now. I'm sorry you haven't
managed to find anyone to help but the bug tracker isn't really a
support channel either. If you do manage to find enough informati
Its likely that it is inadequate documentation, or there has been a
change in how the package has been compiled, or a change in a security
setting unique to Ubuntu? or I am making a mistake.

It seems highly unlikely to me that there is a bug in bind9 in the
common case here, since 14.04 has been out long enough that we would
have had many more bug reports by now if this were the case.
Since it seems l
