I have an update with the 3.0-0.1 packaging in Oneiric Repo.
-Modules successfully compiles (I used the packaging in my Virtual Test PPA)
-Auto Screen resolution works after a second reboot (once after compiling
modules, and once more)

Bryce, Have you tried 'sudo stop qemu-kvm' or 'sudo service qemu-kvm
stop'? Those worked for me on 10.04 when I needed to run VirtualBox
instead, no reboot needed. Restart by replacing 'stop' with 'start'.

I have just also tried an Android phone in debugging mode connecting via
USB to a Scientific 6.0 host. The results are consistent,
"/dev/bus/usb/003/003: Operation not permitted" repeated in guest log
and no sign of device in guest.

We had another incident of this fault, but with an EMC Clariion CX4-120.
After eliminating LVM, and moving to a default MP config. It wasn't
until we removed the "change" rule to the 95-multipath.tools script
that the udev error messages ceased. I'm convinced that this
approach for the boot scripts
