the box.
One need to modify /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf to include reading external
configuration files located in /etc/dovecot/auth.d and /etc/dovecot/conf.f. We

After more investigation it seems that the issue is triggered by
managesieve: when managesieve is enabled dovecot forks multiple times
which leads upstart to loose track of it. If managesieve is disabled
upstart is correctly tracking dovecot.
The posted debdiff fixes the problem. Please upload to
Confirmed on Maverick, could not check Lucid. Some details:
1. it seems it is 'exit 0' that causes fast respawning: after I
corrected the '!egrep' syntax, I still got the fast respawn (now

I have since discovered that it is not DHCP that causes the crash, my
laptop, with a static IP, causes the same crash as well.
I don't see anything in syslog, but am not the greatest linux guy. If
you would like to specify which log files, that may help.

their own tap device. We use broadcast/multi-cast and stuff like
wireshark. So the scalable tun approach is not for us. Basically
everyone needs their own unique MAC address.

but is not fixed by fixing the host && addr code flow. Probably your use
case (usage through xinetd) hits code that triggered the assertion (host
or addr is null) but will also trigger further failure...

The complexity with libportlet-api-2.0-spec-java as it stands today is
that it Build-Depends on debian-maven-helper which pulls pretty much the
entire maven build system into scope for MIR.
However, this is a really simple package and actually only really needs
to Build-Depend on libservlet2.5-jav
I've got the problem as well, Apache is not listening to IPv6 and any
attempt to add "Listen [::]:80" or anything of the like results in an
error.
FYI, Debian's Apache runs IPv6 with no problem at all, and by default
(did not have to change anything in the conf to get it to listen to
tcp6).

In tomcat6.postrm, the following fails if /etc/tomcat6 was manually removed:
