Also is there a way to back up/restore your personal data? (I still have to
carry my old phone with me because I am not aware of a function to back up all

Hi, is there a proposed way to quickly replace the SIM without having to
restart the phone several (~5?) times? I can change the SIM with the phone
running or turned off but in both cases the mako has difficulties to recognize
the SIM (when no PIN is set) or it "forgets" to ask me for the PIN.
Is there a way to disable the auto-unlock after receiving a text message?
Usually this happens when I am biking around and receive a text, the phone
unlocks and the movement in my jeans creates some cryptic answer and submits it
at some time...
Thank you,
Marco
The network indicator tells me I am offline. I know the battery was at 0% this

Hi list,
is there a way to connect to the internet with the ubuntu phone and afterward

If not, is there information around whether this is going to be implemented?

Somehow I can not get it working. I typed "android-gadget-service enable rndis"
into the phone's terminal and adb devices shows my phone but there is nothing
popping up in fedora 20 about tethering. (I was assuming it "just works"). I

Hi Zach,
unfortunately I can't give you an answer to your question, but there are some
other threads in the ML [1] which say that convergence is not yet possible at
all.

Make sure you listen to all voicemail messages in full length or delete
them. I had the same problem and they only got marked as "listened to"
after listening all the way through.

I did not look at how the factory reset is implemented in Ubuntu Touch but you
may want to manually erase really sensitive data.

You should _NOT_ use this flag when deleting files from flash storage. This is
not only useless but also decreases the lifetime of the storage device! Instead
you should use the solution provided by the manufacturer to delete the device.

Thinking about this, what should I do to receive text messages when there is no

Is there any way to disable (get rid) of the toggle. Or just enable hotspot

weird.
