The GPS toggle will be removed from the battery settings. The GPS
chipset already goes into powersave mode automatically when not in use
and 2 settings for the GPS is just confusing.

Hi,
has anybody experienced this bug?
When I make a call, the telephone screen freezes and I can press no

recovers automatically (via a green bar that appears in the upper part

nope, for me GPS works fine, but *only* turns on when you are using a
moving dot maps program. Things that just ask for the location get a
cached location and it doesn't appear to attempt to do better, if
something subscribes to updates, like google maps or OSM Touch then the
GPS turns on and g
Is this the bug your are reproducing after OTA-9.1?

Please comment to reopen it if it's what you're experiencing.
Can anyone else reproduce this bug?

Hi
of course everyone has their own idea of what is a critical bug. But the lack of holidays support
in a calendar app might be seen as a critical bug by many people (as I do).
Regarding the slick calendar app image, I think it is cynical to pubish something like that,

Actually, this is an issue for me too.

Hi Guys,
Everyone has valid points in this discussion and can understand people's
frustration with the limitations of the current calendar app. Bottom line
is it just needs to get better, in many areas. We are going to be
dedicating some resources (from the Canonical System Apps team) over the

It could be related to the proximity sensor. I know for sure it is

that the phone got stuck due to notifications and phone calls, this is
possibly triggered by this bug:
