Why on earth did I write Firefox? I meant the stock browser (if that's the browser that comes with the OS install). It seems to be a 3G issue, as video plays on my 100Mbit Kabeldeutschland through WiFi-N at home. It also happened when I was connected to a Samsung phone Wifi Hotspot bridge to LTE.

Thank you Olivier for your reply. Now all works fine. Today was released the update (v. 0.7) for the YouTube app developed by Alan Pope. The problem was fixed. The web browser works fine too with YouTube, I checked it again, the screen remain turned on during the video. Thank you, Marco
