QtQuick Controls wasn't in between the APIs we officially support.

with OTA 9 some Qt/QtQuick packages where dropped and are not included
in the image anymore.
This includes:
* qml-module-qtquick-dialogs:armhf
* qml-module-qtquick-privatewidgets:armhf
(see http://people.canonical.com/~lzemczak/landing-team/ota/ota-9.commitlog)

In terms of writeable mode, I've not done anything with this device. I've not
long received it from new from BQ.The device updated from OTA-4 (pre-installed)
to 8.5 without any issues.
I'll send over these file, you might be able to make little more sense of this
than I.

I've been running proposed to get rockwork running but my phone just keeps
crashing on phone calls and basically everything! Is ota9 nu available if I
full flash the phone back in the morning to the standard version on the Bq
aquaris 4.5? Its driving me mad!

No you wouldn't since you are not in that channel and already have later
software from proposed as it has updates not

also now im on proposed can i switch back to current after the OTA 9
i switched to proposed to get rockwork running and the fixes in OTA 9
fix all that so dont need to run prop
