Hi Kryzystof,
This appears to be working, at least for YouTube (at least for me). However
this is with the rc-proposed branch so it could possibly have been fixed
between OTA8 and this latest image. Have you filed a bug for the issue?
It's usually a good idea to do this as if it was already raised
Hi Alex,
177 is not the correct revision number for stable which would be where OTA8
is sent. You seem to have rc-proposed installed. This means you have had
all the newness in OTA8 for some time. It also means you are running a
version of Ubuntu Phone that is not as well tested as stable (althoug

If you are looking at the diff in Chromium it seems to be a bug between

Pressing start the test will take you to the screen where you can select

I'm not sure it's the best way but using Pulseaudio's DBus interface might
work. There seems to be a MuteUpdated signal that is sent out when a device
is muted:

Yes, all modern phone UIs (that I know of) use a slide mechanism when
answering calls. Just tapping seems nice, until you take into account real
world usage where the phone is in your pocket and you can easily just press
the hang up button by accident when fumbling for it

MR = Merge request, sometimes called MP (Merge proposal). Same as a git
pull request, just a request to merge some code into another branch so that
it can be reviewed by others.

It would be best to file bugs against any specific apps you think are

The intro in Vivid was updated with how to switch apps, but I don't think

You probably will have to reflash back to #33, but if you don't specify
--bootstrap or --wipe then your data will be preserved so it won't be too
bad.

This is probably because there are two volume contexts, media and
ringer/notification. Changing one will not change the other - if there is
media playing it will always change the media volume. The bug here I
suppose is not differentiating between the two in the volume overlay, but

That explains a lot then - yes this silo failed to install using the
citrain tool (dist-upgrade). We were instructed by the lander that apt-get
installing each package was the method they used and the 'right' way. I
guess this was bad advice and we should have payed attention to what
citrain did. W

Hi,
Some of you may have noticed that the citrain tool which can be used for
easy installation of silos, was not working on RTM images since the
beginning and more recently has not been working on Utopic due to the
rootless adb changes. The issues preventing it from working have been fixed
