I did the upgrade about two weeks ago and noticed the same thing. I did a
clean install of Mythbuntu 12.04, my load average was pretty low, 0.10s or
something (in previous versions) when it was doing nothing and now it sits
around 0.8 to 1.0 when doing nothing. I have dual hdtv inputs and it still

If you go to that theme chooser the updated theme misspelled distribution

to install properly, which then failed mythtv and one other package (I
forget). Searching around I finally figured out it was with the
mythtv-database post install script that was failing. I edited that and
manually put in al
