I forgot about this bug, but had cleaned all of these up except for changing the case from Unix to UNIX. UNIX refers to the trademarked software, whereas a common term for what Linux is would be "Unix-like". See the Wikipedia entry on UNIX for more. In addition, Ubuntu's documentation uses "Unix"

Hey yeah those changes all make sense. I'll clear up my chapters (1, 2 and 3). For major changes like rewriting parts, the person responsible will the original author - and for minor changes (such as the "I" instead of the "we") can be the editors responsibility. That was just leftover from when
