As other people already said, you can't remove individual programs
from a package.
However, you can right-click on the app menu, "edit", and hide the
freecell program if you don't like

We released bootable USB image of "OS circular" and the Debian packages of

There's a reference to an upstream bug report in the patch itself. It

Chris,
Thanks for your reply. I understand the realistic restrictions that a
developer faces when packaging applications. It really doesn't bother me
that I'm incapable of removing one out of all of them while leaving the rest
alone. I always simply remove all of them anyway. I was pointing ou

Hi guys. Thanks for your detailed replies.
I think I'm having a difficult time expressing what I'm trying to get
across. It's kind of a vague notion.
My problem isn't that for me its difficult to either just remove the
package entirely (in this case, I don't play any of those games and do

Yep, but I tend to believe that this race condition is directly inside
the kernel.
My reasoning is that the http://samba.org/~tridge/junkcode/aio_uid.c

John,
I see now. I agree, man-power is better spent on things other than
separating the free-cell game from the games package. I was simply trying
to figure out the reason why, and see if there was some way I could
contribute to giving the users of Ubuntu more freedom on what they have on
