I think my issues are hardware related, so haven't filed a bug
performance issues started up again on my custom .39-rc5 kernel after
about 2 hours use
I compiled a kernel.org .38 just to see, same as .39-rc5

I've been having serious performance issues with the stock Natty kernel
System:
- Intel core2 Duo (dual core)
- 4 GB RAM
- Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT
Symptoms:
- Programs that hit the disk a lot are stalling regularly for multiple
seconds (compiz dimmed) then coming back
- Very choppy (slide
