Ok. Have tried the *6.06* alternate cd and it's installing fine, except
that somewhere at the end of the install process, I only get a
blackscreen with 2 white square in the center more and less.
At this point I'm not able to view anything of the process, so all I can
do.. is
1. What remote machine do you use?

Thanks for fixing this. This was something that was missing in the linux
world, a simple backup solution, but still powerfull and a purge option.
Ok. Have tried it some more, and I found that if I set it to make a full
backup at least once every "1" days. It should make a full backup every
day yes? But it's not, it's only make incremental backups.
It only make 1 full backup (the first) then the rest is only ".inc"
every day.

Well I can confirm this slowness for the desktop to show up, with or without
desktop effects.
uptodate: Oct 11-07.
Dell D610, 1.6Mhz, 1024RAM, 915 Graphic.
Also need to click on the gnome-panel or the desktop to make the panel

The only way I can fix this, is by kill the networkmanager and start it,

Ok. This is kind of a odd problem. If I have the computer set to suspend
and it goes in to sleep like it should, however, sometimes when it
wakeup I get some info on usb suspend 2 > 2 then it starts to write to
hdd when finished writing it shuts down. Now when I start the mach

If I reboot / shutdown my machine it will hang for a while.
All I get is the terminal window. Then after then say 30-40sec it will continue
to shutdown and I get the usplash.
If I do a "reboot -h 0" from the terminal I get the same behavior.

It does suspend if I put it to suspend but pressing the supend button,
but never on idle.
Think I have found it, if downgrading to edgy version it works fine. So I did
reinstall the version from feisty 7.04
And had a look at the gconf-editor and found a key:
/apps/gnome-power-manager/action_batt
Ok tested to do a clean install of 7.04. ( second machine )
And it did not suspend on idle and running on battery.
However if I change the value of the
/apps/gnome-power-manager/action_battery_sleep_type then it suspend like it
should.

Nope it was not it.
Try this, drag an url that have a long address like gmail inbox, or do a
search and then drag it to the panel.
