i have burned a cd with ubuntu karmic alpha 6 and tried to boot.
close cd tray, boot laptop, choose nederlands(dutch), choose first option
then 2 lines of text appear for .01 seconds, then blank for 10 minutes! then
kernel panic...
still the ubuntu 9.04 work around works just fine.
i expect to see
pics: kernel panic ubuntu 9.04 and workaround.

I've tried ubuntu karmic 9.10 alpha 6 via mu usb drive.

this time it's a different kind of kernel panic, it just hangs after 2 seconds.
the workaround i used with 9.04 still works an karmic boots the same.
should i include screen shots(screen photos wit
startup disc creator fails to format my usb.. i click "format" after 5 minutes
the program is clickable again, but still an orange triangle at the usb
location.. unetbootin in linux installs the live usb image to my usb drive no
problem, i reboot, select usbkey in the bios menu, reboot, boot err
just tested Ubuntu 10.04 alpha2 on a usb. startup disc creator just works like
normal this time.
