Preliminary
In order to try live CD on my Netbook "MSI U130", I had to make a live key. The
program to do so, coming from Ubuntu, doesn't work, so I used "Unetbootin". It
worked beautifully with" Ubuntu netbook 10.04". So I did the same with "10.10
alpha 2", today's ver

Finally I got thru with a tool which did not work on 10.04
The latest update of Ubuntu netbook Lucid permitted me to create the
live usb key from the internal tool located in Admin.
Forget that post which was not a bug finally

May I remind you that this a MAJOR ISSUE for this version because on 2
different laptops, different brands, one cannot even boot the system up
The official release is, as far as I know, in 6 weeks time and, since

Very happy to find a human on the line. I followed your interested link,
but no result
1-Boot options
Once I saw something on the screen, I pressed the shift key and hold it down,
but I still got the same sequence
2-initramfs : which seems to be the problem, same
I've tried:
debug --> /
Still the same with yesterday's version August 11th
By the way I did the live key with the same progrem as I did for 10.04
which WORKS: unetbootin

I've tried 10.04 on the same key as the one I used for 10.10.
The result with that key on my netbook is:
10.04 OK
10.10 NOT OK
As a conclusion I would say the bug comes from your alpha version for
sure ... sorry !!!

Hi
I come back to the HP of the top list. I've tried again on today's version
(2020-02-16). I saw a new kernel coming up, but no change. The screen remains
all black for ... ever !!
