Public bug reported: Hi
Preliminary In order to try live CD on my Netbook "MSI U130", I had to make a live key. The program to do so, coming from Ubuntu, doesn't work, so I used "Unetbootin". It worked beautifully with" Ubuntu netbook 10.04". So I did the same with "10.10 alpha 2", today's version july 17, and IT DID NOT WORK What I did with Ubuntu netbook 10.10 I did the same as before, on the same USB key, but at boot start I got a message error (see attachment "boot screenshot on MSI U130") Then I followed the suggestion and entered : init=bootarg I went a bit further but still an error message I've tried another key : same I've tried it on another PC : HP Compaq 6510b another error So it never works whatever key or PC Thx for correcting the bug, because I love the netbook version on 10.04 and I'd like to test 10.10 ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Ubuntu netbook 10.10 live : NOT working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/606631 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
