Well the current kernel runs fine on my end so I doubt it is related. The reason why I think that it is fsck related is that I have / on sda5 and home on md0. When the system boots fine it will get (at the beginning) an fsck message about sda5 (clean) followed by a fsck message about md0 (clean). W
