Using Hardy/Kubuntu on a Thinkpad T60 laptop.
When the power is plugged in, the fan is running constantly even though only
cold air is blown out. When the power cable is pulled out it also takes a while
for the fan to slow down or stop.
Very noisy, very annoying.

However, the volume buttons adjust with 21 percent! From 73% to 94% for

them relatively often. In gnome there is a nice GUI for this in
System -> Preferences -> Sound/Audio

I would indeed consider it as a bug:
1) Burning a CD from MP3 should just work - out of the box. Currently it
doesn't. Far from. No mom/girlfriend would currently ever be able to
perform this simple task alone.

I agree. There should really be a "rescan networks now!" button in
knetworkmanager! It happens all the time that some networks are missing.
