1. saw reproducible bugs related to nouveau when the HDMI cable was plugged in.
remove it to avoid frequent shutdowns in live session.

mode; after I redo all the steps I did for the 3rd time today.
automation in this respect would be welcome, excluding the obvious
stuff.

tip- since passwords can't be checked for errors at the "configure secure boot"
phase, type it out and then copy it to save time.
same for any other password filling stages in the install process.

I too suspect; the proprietary drivers would help for sure.
the proprietary nvidia drivers should be the default anyway as that's

While double clicking the circle, the app bar on the left (hidden) tries
to come out.. Its irritating b'coz if i have 10 notifications in my
circle and I want to quickly look at them, then 10 times that bar will
slightly appear and disappear.

I can confirm that the problem is not limited to Apple bluetooth
keyboard. I have a Logitech Mediaboard Pro that used to work fine with
Lucid. It worked fine with Maverick initially, but after an upgrade (I
don't know which one though) it stopped working.
I have been using the gnome bluetooth mana
I have another desktop with Lucid (64bit) running kernel
2.6.35-22-generic. The bluetooth keyboard pairs and works just fine on
that desktop. So the problem can't be with the 2.6.35-22-generic kernel
alone.
