Hi all, The following solution worked for me .... sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-audio-dev/ppa uname -r (This gave '2.6.32-24-generic' for me. You check yours and use it in the following line ) linux-alsa-driver-modules-2.6.32-24-generic Now Restart
