I can confirm this bug. What is strange is that it is the first time
that my wireless card is not recognized (Broadcom also). It was
recognized in previous versions of Ubuntu, in a previous instalation of

Restricted Drivers (jocky) not detecting Broadcom STA or B4
A few comments.
I plugged in an ethernet cable and installed bcmwl-kernel-source. After a
reboot the STA driver showed up in Restricted Drivers, but no wireless network
was detected.
Since this was a fresh install, I thought it may be easier to just reinstall
Ubuntu. I did it, but again the wire
I am having the same problem, but it is when trying to disable mirrored

I experienced the same problem with Ubuntu 9.10, however, I noticed that

swap partition and chose swap off. This took off the keys icon from both

Changing the type of the account from IMAP to IMAP+ seems to have solved the

I hope it works for others too.

I was having the same problem. I think there is a serious usability problem
here.
Just to make it clear, you have to open the Accounts window. There is no button
to add an account there, you have to find it in the (hidden) menu of that
window.

I think I've found the problem.
On the mail address I had specified the port number, e.g. m...@mail.com:993.
Removing the port fixed the problem. Luckily this was the default port for
IMAP, otherwise I would be in trouble.
Great monologue any way :)

I forgot to update the status, the bug is still there.
Changing the port fixed it for that session as it does enabling and disabling
the account, but the problem appeared again after a restart of Evolution.

This still happens in Ubuntu Lucid Lynx.
