Last night, I upgraded from 8.04.1 to 8.10 beta. I had configured a
static IP address in Hardy, but as the release notes suggested using
DHCP, I went to GNOME's Network configuration tool and changed it to
DHCP.
After upgrading to 8.10 be

proceeded to run down the list of things I remembered doing with my

When I try to run the game, it reports it's using 0.4 data, as the game
is at 0.5, I believe we need to sync the game content as well as the
main game. The main game (vegastrike) is at 0.5, but the data package
(vegastrike-data) reports 0.
I'll admit I'm not totally sure, but when I tried starting Firefox from
the command-line, and tried playing the Flash animation I mentioned
above, it worked. However, running Firefox from the icon on the panel
does not allow the animation's sound to work.

Problem. Apport does not appear. I have successfully reported bugs using
Apport before, but in different applications. Apport-cli works, as this
is what I used to initiate this bug

As to my profile, is that the .mozilla folder in my home folder? If it
is, there are two folders within that, extensions, and firefox. If I go
inside this first extensions folder, there is another folder labeled
with gobbly-gook, that is empty.

I don't know for sure what package this is, but when using Update
Manager and Software Store, when I type my password into the
authentication dialog and press enter, it doesn't disappear. The dialog
stays there. Then, I have to close out of it.

But that isn't very clear to those who are new. It seems that it should
be irrelevant of size---we need to offer the latest. Users will be
confused if the game they see versus the game in the manual (and
everyone else is playing) are different.
