The only OMAP platform that’s not included in the Ubuntu kernel is CM-T35 board.
According to Ubuntu omap maintainer "“we had some problems booting beagle with
CONFIG_OMAP_MUX. But CM-T35 depends on it. So we had to unfortunately disable
the board.”

It would be quite difficult to add kernel log and additional info if the Ubuntu
default kernel does not boot on my machine _at all_ :)
If I boot ti-omap flavour of the Ubuntu kernel following the
ARM/BeagleNetbookInstall (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ARM/BeagleNetbookInstall) all
I get is:
