I have been testing the new driver, using jaunty x86, it seems that for
now the problem in openoffice is solved (though I will continue testing
it, and if something comes up I will let you know).
However, when I open Skype (which uses Qt) the problem persists, but

fresh install of Ubuntu. I made an experiment after I sent the bug,
changing the nvidia driver from 180x to the 173x, with the 173x the
problem doesn't happen, so I guess the problem is from the 180x driver
(but I am only guessing)...

Thanks Chris. I went into the Software Sources and disabled the Ultimax
repositories, and all is well. Can you tell me how to get Ultimax out
of >Applications >system tools.? If I click on that again, it rebuilds
itself and I have to go back and remove the offending repositories all
over again.

Other DHCP settings are fixed in code also. By example DHCP_TIMEOUT is
fixed to 45 seconds. Terminals gaining ip leases thru radio links or
vpn's aren't able to work with such short timeout.

I have on Natty 2.6.38-8-generic #42-Ubuntu x86_64 and Linksys USB with
p54usb. It gets "some" AP, but not all. If I change to my own compiled
kernel, based on 2.6.38, it works.
