I found a way to reproduce this bug in terminal! Run these commands: nmcli r all on nmcli r all off
** Description changed: 1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 15.10 Release: 15.10 2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy pkgname' or by checking in Software Center network-manager: Installed: 1.0.4-0ubuntu5.1 Candidate: 1.0.4-0ubuntu5.1 Version table: *** 1.0.4-0ubuntu5.1 0 500 http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ wily-updates/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1.0.4-0ubuntu5 0 500 http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ wily/main amd64 Packages 3) What you expected to happen Connection remain stable, without lags and randomly disconnects. 4) What happened instead a. Wi-Fi randomly disconnects (dmesg shows Reason 3: DEAUTH LEAVING) b. Pages doesn't load properly. They load without CSS or without some images. c. Network-manager freezes system when I disconnect from my network and freezes the song that's playing (like a DJ hahaha), either in Rhythmbox or Banshee. d. Connection becomes unstable after some time, especially after suspend. e. Network-manager applet doesn't show available networks after I disconnect, only showing after running "sudo service network-manager restart" command. *** Steps that may help to reproduce the bug: 1. Play some music. Enable and disable air plane mode constantly (if you have an air plane button in your keyboard) 2. Play some music. Go to "edit connections". Forget the network, wait 5 seconds then enable and immediately disable air plane mode. This doesn't occur always. + 3. Running nmcli r all on / nmcli r all off Sorry my english. *** ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 15.10 Package: network-manager 1.0.4-0ubuntu5.1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.2.0-18.22-generic 4.2.3 Uname: Linux 4.2.0-18-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.19.1-0ubuntu5 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: Unity Date: Wed Nov 25 19:28:49 2015 IfupdownConfig: # interfaces(5) file used by ifup(8) and ifdown(8) auto lo iface lo inet loopback InstallationDate: Installed on 2015-11-24 (1 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 15.10 "Wily Werewolf" - Release amd64 (20151021) IpRoute: NetworkManager.state: [main] NetworkingEnabled=true WirelessEnabled=true WWANEnabled=true WimaxEnabled=true SourcePackage: network-manager UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) nmcli-con: NAME UUID TYPE TIMESTAMP TIMESTAMP-REAL AUTOCONNECT AUTOCONNECT-PRIORITY READONLY DBUS-PATH ACTIVE DEVICE STATE ACTIVE-PATH Wired connection 1 1e34491b-39b8-48c4-9243-20e7e27aecc0 802-3-ethernet 1448486897 Qua 25 Nov 2015 19:28:17 BRST yes 0 no /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/Settings/0 no -- -- -- nmcli-dev: DEVICE TYPE STATE DBUS-PATH CONNECTION CON-UUID CON-PATH wlp2s0 wifi disconnected /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/Devices/1 -- -- -- enp1s0 ethernet unavailable /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/Devices/2 -- -- -- lo loopback unmanaged /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/Devices/0 -- -- -- nmcli-nm: Error: command ['nmcli', '-f', 'all', 'nm'] failed with exit code 2: Error: Object 'nm' is unknown, try 'nmcli help'. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1519991 Title: Enable/disable wi-fi freezes the song that's playing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1519991/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
