I am trying to install ubuntu 6.06 i386 and ubuntu 6.10 i386 desktop.
Both are crashing at the same place. I've taken a screen dump and stored
the various log files. I don't know how to attach these files in the bug
report. I've got rhe dumps stored on a floppy. Please let me

I was able to install ubuntu 6.06 i386. I was using a very old hard
drive. It would format with no errors but it crashed when I tried to
install the operating system. I installed another drive and was able to
install the operating system. Thanks to all involed. I still have issues
but they are not
