I was able to install ubuntu 6.06 i386. I was using a very old hard drive. It would format with no errors but it crashed when I tried to install the operating system. I installed another drive and was able to install the operating system. Thanks to all involed. I still have issues but they are not a bug (at this time). I'm trying to set up a peer to peer LAN that would allow me to get to the internet. If you could direct me to help, I would greatly appreciate it. Again thanks.
