I'm using banshee 1.4.1. It shows my 5th generation Ipod and all the playlists
but banshee doesn't allow me to edit the properties of the smart playlists. It
also doesn't allow me to change the tags of the MP3's.

because of the date I add this bug, I know that was using a previous version of
banshee which one, I don't remember. however I tried replicating the bug and it
has changed to the following: repeat the same procedure. apparently the smart
playlist works correctly, it picks up the son
my system crashes when I try to open several music files at the same
time for example (or when I use several applications that have some kind
of sound output (i.e. firefox playing a video and totem playing an mp3).
It is solved if in sound preferences I change all the options to ALSA
instead of pul

correct me if I'm mistaken, but I think that it is a lot simpler to
create a new user to check the default behavior?
I just did that, and yes, I was able to reproduce the buggy behavior
with the default compiz settings.

thanks for the reply, but I found that those drivers are a beta version. I
can't risk messing up my work tool.

I just replicated the bug, and is still there (I'm using Lucid right now). a
bit more information: I noticed that if you change the criteria to say
'grouping is 3', the smart list will work correctly. It seems that if you leave
the text dialog empty, and ill-formed database query produces t
13 matches
