Ubuntu 8.10/Msi Radeon HD4830 512mb..Phenom II 940/8gb ddr2 800/---
amdcccle version 9.2(amd-driver-installer x86 64 9.2.run)
Using an DVI to HDMI cable to connect to 46 in samsung monitor.
1280x720 freezes upon monitor power cycle( turn monitor off then back on
and ubuntu i
uninstalled and performed sudo apt-get install xorg-driver-fglrx.. not
having problems so far(can power cycle tv).. will reenable standby and
screensavers and report back later

still no problems with power cycling and standby.. ill blame this
problem on the drivers from AMD
