Running hardy on an older laptop: HP M2108US w/celeron proc. Suspend
has not work on this machine since 2.6.24-16

Just to clarify my earlier comment (#75). The suspend/resume
functionality _work_ on my machine (HP Compaq M2108US) when booted into
2.6.24-16. For me the resume from suspend issue started with -17,
continuing with -18.
Today I re-read "APavlov's" comment #6 and decided to test. I booted
into 2

Rebooted into -19. Sound works at gui logon. Broadcom wireless card

Just tried suspend, then resume, then 'sudo reboot' on my machine. My
machine rebooted without the hang described by APavlov.

ubuntu-modules*, linux-restricted-modules* debs using 'apt-get install

gtkam 1.0 (Linux Mint 20.2 MATE [Ubuntu 20.04 variant]).

I thought this was fixed in Linux Mint 17 (MATE 64-bit)? It's not.
Since some camera's are not being presented with the mount option at all
in LM17 (and Ubuntu 14.04 as well) was going to be my alternative.
