Re: APavlov's recent comment. Just tried suspend, then resume, then 'sudo reboot' on my machine. My machine rebooted without the hang described by APavlov.
To be clear. I _only_ installed the -19 linux-image*-generic, linux- ubuntu-modules*, linux-restricted-modules* debs using 'apt-get install'. I did not install any of the other suggested updates showing in 'update- manager' with the 'deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy- proposed main restricted universe multiverse' repository active. Other than the three -19 packages listed above, my machine running on all currently released updates. -- Kernel 2.6.24-17 - broken resume from suspend to RAM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226279 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
