Same problem here on a Thinkpad T60 (Ati mobile x1400).
BUT: I get this problem only if I have connected a extra screen (Benq FP202W)
to the notebook over VGA.
Maybe there's a problem with recognizing this monitor?

I was able to get the tablet working by rebuilding the kernel module,
using the current beta sources from the Linux Wacom Project
(linuxwacom-0.8.1-4). This includes pressure sensitivity in GIMP (You
have to manually enable the tablet: "Preferences/Input Devices/Configure
Extended Input Devices..."
This is also an issue in a live session, installing a restricted driver
via jockey works like a charm, but it requires restarting of X. So there
should be a hint like "please log out and log in again" instead of
rebooting which does not make any sense in a live session ;)

If you can't play midi files and you get something like this:

I am not sure, when exactly the problem occurs and it isn't really
reproducable. The last time it happened when the computer run a while
and I logged in. My home directory is affected by the problem: some
directories are visible, many others doesn't exist any longer in

According to comment #7 this incompatibility of psi and qt4.4 will be
fixed in a later version of psi. See workarounds in this comment to fix
it for now.
