I am using a single monitor system with four workspaces.
Switching the workspace with alt-ctrl-left/right switches to the
*second* next workspace.
Pressing alt-ctrl-left/right twice, as described by Gregg in (11),
switches to the *third* next workspace.

I just compiled the 2.6.30.6-Kernel from www.kernel.org with ath9k
support as module as it is in linux-2.6.31-9. My atheros WLAN is now
working properly and the system freezes are history.
My system has an uptime of 50 minutes now (with wireless connected to
AP) and everything seems to work fine.
