Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager

I am using the following setup:

My PC has got two network cards. One of them (eth0) is connected to my
DSL modem (eth1) and I am using PPPoE to connect to my ISP. The other is
used for connecting my laptop (eth0). I assigned a static IP-address
(192.168.0.1) to it. My laptop's network card is also configured for
static connections (192.168.0.2).

I am using shorewall for NAT and as a firewall, but this is probably
irrelevant for this problem.

At some point during boot and when I connect my laptop to my PC the default
route is lost and the following route is added
82.135.3.1      *               255.255.255.255 UH    0      0        0 ppp0

The "normal" state can be restored by disconnecting (poff dsl-provider)
and reconnecting (pon dsl-provider) to my ISP.
