Public bug reported:
My Sandisk Sansa e260 mounts read only
Attempts to change permissions results in ยด read only filesystem' type error
messages. The sansa is in USB mode and thus should appear as an usb disk
The problem appears only in feisty, but never in edgy.
Btw, another user on the forum
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20
After the upgrade yesterday (including a kernel upgrade to 2.6.20-13.21) my
wirless card stopped working. Sadly enough also on the old kernel (2.6.20-12).
It keeps telling in the demsg:
[ 20.04] ipw3945: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless
Ohh btw, I also tried enabling it in BIOS, didnt help.

This is acutally a dup of bug 64433 I filed a while ago. I am pretty
sure it was fixed at some point but is now back again. The slow disk
speed is damn annoying.

You mentioned something about combined mode issue and that might be
fixed upstream? Do you have any details or pointers? The fix that I did
for 2.6.17 and that got committed (see bug 64433) was to add the ID to
the list of ahci chipsets. I looked and that id is still missing
upstream (2.6.21-rc4).
Sure. Here you go!
