the meantime. I've installed the new ATI drivers (9.1) and, after much hassle,
got everything working properly. However, now gnome-display-properties doesn't
open any more (another bug?). I'm not willing to roll back

Interestingly, the key combination for switching brightness adaptation on/off
(Fn+F11, right next to Fn+F9/F10 for manual adjustment) still seems to work -

Walter, I first tried to submit the bug through the "ubuntu-bug" tool,
but it complained that natty was no longer in development and asked me a
confusing question about what it should do. I must have picked a wrong

I just tried and it looks like network is performing as expected.
Also my fix mentiod earlier to set 'pcie_aspm=off' does not seem to work
anymore on kernel '5.11.0-34-generic'
So please release this as soon as possible.

With cubic I have generated a new ISO with kernel 5.10.0-1049.51
installed.
1) PXE boot is working as fast as it should be.
2) Once O.S. installed download speeds are working as expected again.
So I can confirm this patch fixes the issue
