I installed 96 drivers on geforce mx 400 64Mb. Everything is ok now
except Fireworks in Wine. Dreamveaver, sqlYog looks good but Fireworks
doesn't shows the icons in the toolbar (left). I uploaded a screenshot;
maybe someone has advice.

Finished the normal installation, when I used the automated proprietary
driver installer from the tray, after the installation I've reported the
crash.
The applet seems however to complete the installation and displays the

Just installed the new 96 drivers. I have a geforce2 MX 400 (64 Mb).
Needed to modify manually the xorg.conf (device part) like this:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Configured Video Device"
Driver "nvidia"
Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "true"
EndSection
now it is working.

I have a similar problem. I simply start gnuplot and plot a file
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ gnuplot
gnuplot>plot "file.dat" u 1:2
After some time the window with the plot crashes, even if I do nothing else.
The terminal is wxt.

Hi,
I've an Hp Compaq 6720s with Intel 965 card.
If I disable DRI in my xorg.conf I get no error to use applications such
World of Warcraft, Blender ecc... (but they run too slow), if I enable
DRI, then I can't use that.
Now I'm using Gentoo and the problem is present here too, not only in
Ubunt
the problem is solved under ubuntu 8.10, great work. Thanks
