whether it is advantageous for favours I can't really say - all I can
see on https://ubuntu.com is ubuntu pro for AWS and Azure.
I fail to see the immediate relevance for community flavours where
desktop/laptop based flavours are asked to support their key packages
typically for 3 years
For Ubuntu Budgie we need the auto theming to work for the transition.
In addition we will need to seed two further snap theme packages in
addition to the firefox theme since our themes are not in the general
theme snap ubuntu uses.

This has been tracked down to the replacement of lightdm in the archive
with Debian's version. It is missing the ubuntu only lightdm-session
wrapper. I can only assume, users of lightdm are now supposed to define
the session-wrapper themselves - Debian has always had to.
