Seb, whether it is advantageous for favours I can't really say - all I can see on https://ubuntu.com is ubuntu pro for AWS and Azure.
I fail to see the immediate relevance for community flavours where desktop/laptop based flavours are asked to support their key packages typically for 3 years (for an LTS). How does Ubuntu Pro help here with the wider archive all flavours use? Obviously not really a discussion point for launchpad - if its covered on discourse together with the relevance for flavours etc then please do advise.
