After some investigation, I think this is a codec error: In Intrepid
gst-fluendo-mpegdemux should be responsible for decoding the stream. But
in Jaunty, fluendo-mpegdemux conflicts with gst-plugins-bad (universe)
so it can't be installed. If I try with just fluendo and no plugins-bad,

I looked at the packages for Intrepid and the problem remains:
Package "ntp" provides "ntp-server". Package "chrony" provides "time-
daemon". Both "ntp" and "chrony" have similar functionality. I guess the
solution with least impact would be if both "ntp" and "chrony" each
provided "ntp-server" as

I've found the problem with the packages that fail to install. Both Wine
and Chrome debs contain a "data.tar.lzma", but GDebi only checks for gz
and bz2 file extensions. I don't know anything about deb packages, so

Okay I finally found a bug report which had a solution that worked for me.
I had to delete /usr/share/icons/gnome/icon-theme.cache and now nautilus works
again.

The fix from upstream is that the user is prompted to emtpy the trash
when the drive is unmounted. This fix is in Karmic, but a big problem is
that this dialog is not triggered when ejecting a drive in Nautilus,
only when unmounting.
In Nautilus "ejecting" is the default action, "unmounting" is on

I have the same problem. When it happens, the CPU usage of one core goes to
100% until it crashes.
It seems to happen only when I'm editing the biggest file in my project so far
(~500 lines)

do you include something large?
I use the boost::multiarray header in my project, which has quite a lot
dependencies. I think that could be more of a problem than a few hundred lines
of code.

I have laptop Toshiba l300. After new install MINT 18 (Mate) after lip

I'm also affected by this bug. I observed that if I force a refresh (F5)
in the nautilus window, it then correctly refreshes the window and stop
using all of my cpu almost immediatly.
