After some investigation, I think this is a codec error: In Intrepid gst-fluendo-mpegdemux should be responsible for decoding the stream. But in Jaunty, fluendo-mpegdemux conflicts with gst-plugins-bad (universe) so it can't be installed. If I try with just fluendo and no plugins-bad, totem shows an error that it's missing some plugins.
