I have confirmed the bug on my 9.04 rc system, upgraded yesterday from
8.10. I get the failure with Pauli's test program. I ran into the
problem when I tried to build numpy from svn--it failed nosetests using
complex variables in linalg. I routinely built from svn using 8.10,
with no such proble
I installed the libatlas-test package, ran the tests, and found two that
failed: xzl2blastst and xcl2blastst. Output is attached.

Just wanted to add that this is still the case in the RC. Will a fix for
this make it into the relaease, or will the normalization plugin have to
be disabled by default? I was hoping something might have come with some
of the gstreamer bad plugin updates I've seen over the last couple
weeks. When t
I just upgraded to the latest gnome-do-plugins, and I still get "Failed
to post 'testing update from gnome-do' to Twitter" whenever I try to
send it. I'm not sure where to look for any log files to verify whether
or not this is the same problem, but it seems suspiciously related.

After upgrade, they both have unreadable text, looks like the text is

I have exactly the same problem, but with Kubuntu 9.04 final (not beta),
installed with the standard upgrade procedure from 8.10.
The search applet does not work for google and it is impossible to add
other engines (the dialog has no effect).

Kubuntu 9.04 beta Konquerer google search does not
Easy workaround to solve the problem: in the search engines selection
dialog, disable web shortcuts, apply your change, then enable web
shortcuts and apply.
The problem is probably due to a change in the format of the config
file, rewriting the file solves it.
