get the correct behavior when it comes to environment variables as

The weather feature in the clock applet looks like it truncates the
temperature.
I'm running Hardy beta 2008-03-20 from Live CD and see different
temperatures in the clock panel and in the balloon which pops up when
you hover over the cloud
Now it shows 8C in the panel and 5.5C in the pop-up, so looking more and
more like a duplicate of #188183, except this is in the clock applet,
not the weather applet. I guess they use the same code base?
I thought I filed this against gnome-applets, sorry if this is in the
wrong package.

To expand a bit on that, I've noticed that when I'm at home, and get
NTP, my clock is correctly set to DST for my time zone, but when I lose
the network, it flips back by an hour. That's really aggravating; I've
almost missed a meeting a few times because of that.

Happens to me too, Windows-ish environment. I can browse workgroups and
servers but when I finally navigate to the print server, it doesn't list
any printers. The arrow next to the server simply goes away, and you
can only either Cancel or Refresh (or click on a different host). This

I can hibernate and wake back up on a Toshiba Libretto U105, with Gutsy
proposed updates enabled and installed. I turned Compiz back on and
tried, and the first experience is moderately positive. There was still

This could be a problem in compiz, in metacity, or in the Gnome
workspace switcher.
When I initially installed Gutsy, I set myself up with 4 x 2 workspaces.
Then I had to turn off Compiz (effectively switching to Metacity)
because of bug 1331
Actually, that was not sufficient; I still had a ghost row underneath
the proper workspaces in Compiz. Briefly switching to Metacity, by
disabling desktop effects in Appearance > Visual Effects and changing
the workspace switchers prefs in Metacity to display all workspaces in
one row got rid of i

the files, they have date and time stamps). Apologies for the false

And here's why. You have one stanza for "main restricted multiverse"
and another for "universe". This is how it's configured (commented-out)
when you install, so it's likely that most people who have universe
and/or multiverse enabled will see this.
