Happens to me too, Windows-ish environment. I can browse workgroups and
servers but when I finally navigate to the print server, it doesn't list
any printers. The arrow next to the server simply goes away, and you
can only either Cancel or Refresh (or click on a different host). This
happens even if I click "requires authentication" and type in my user
name and password before attempting to browse. (I would have expected
it to pop up an authentication dialog if the server requires
authentication and I hadn't typed in any credentials in the Add printer
main dialog box.)

As others have reported, if you know the print server and printer name,
that's a good workaround. (If you have a Windows box where the printer
is available, you can glean these details from its Properties, although
of course having to touch Windows sucks big time.)

Why is this marked Incomplete? I'm taking that away and marking this
Confirmed. If you need additional information, please be more clear
about what is still missing.
