I've just upgraded to 18.10 from 18.04. Now when power manager (or
whoever) puts the screen to blank, I cannot login, because I do not see
anything. Befeore the upgrade, mouse move or keypress led to login
screen. Now does not.
Workaround:

I've just figured out that I am unable to insert non-breaking spaces
(CTRL-SHIFT-SPACE) any more in LibreOffice Writer because CTRL+SPACE now
switches between keyboard layouts.
I consider this very unlucky, not only because non-breaking spaces, but

Czech language spell check does not work, although Czech Aspell language
pack is installed. It is not even possible to select other language than

Using Touchpad without properly functional settings like disabling while
typing is a real pain. It should be fixed. Skilled users like us may
still use console and fixes like 'syndaemon -i 1 -d -t -K', but what
about the poor "normal" users?

Hi there, during hibernation I see some strange messages, but OK,
hibernation is not officially supported.
The problem is, that I've got errors in system log (dmesg) even without
any hibernation, just normal boot from powered-off computer.

In my Xubuntu 13.10 Chromium browser does not colorize current HTML
input field helper selection item - see the attachment for better
understanding.
Somewhere in the past chromium marked the item currently selected from
the list by different color - which is standard behavior
