Done some more test: the problem seems restricted to Intel HD Graphics 620 used
by Luca Ciavatta https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/totem/+bug/1732204
and my Intel HD Graphics 630.
I still have the problem on Ubuntu 18.10:

I installed (overwriting an existing partition) from Ubuntu 19.10 "Eoan
Ermine" - Beta amd64 (20191006) selecting "Language": "en_US" and
keyboard italian. When i entered the computer name "corrado-p6-ee-1006"
i see instead "corrado/p6/ee/1006" because the installer uses the U
gstreamer1.0-vaapi 1.16.0-1ubuntu1 does not fix the problem

I have the problem with nautilus 1:3.32.1-0ubuntu1 in Ubuntu 19.10 Wayland
session
move item to a different folder with mouse does not work, it seems just ignored
but no crash.
sometimes i have an error message like the one in attachment
copy+paste works fine.

Problem happens randomly (I had the problem 2 times) I was moving a subfolder
to a different folder in the partition named 'dati1'If the problem happens
again i will try with 'ubuntu-bug nautilus'

The problem happens in the live session. Ubiquity starts ok, The default
desktop is displayed, but any mouse or keyboard command is ignored. If instead
of "Try Ubuntu" I select "install Ubuntu" the install runs fine but the new
installed system has the problem described in

Same problem in Ubuntu Cosmic and Disco with gnome-system-monitor snap
version. Problem does not occur with .deb version. but why the snap
version is default?
