solve the problem because you must have it connected. If you keep it

easier is to wait until it's upstreamed. Andrej is solving a problem

anymore because the system was using the open-source driver. The bug
still present in Ubuntu 11.10.

According to the Linux Hybrid Graphics blog, the Catalyst 12.1 fully
supports Hybrid (Switchable) graphics ATI/Intel. Check http://linux-

Hi, I just tried the Catalyst 12.1 in my HP touchsmart tm2 Intel/ATI. It
did not even let start the lightdm. I had to uninstall. Maybe next
Catalyst.

Cellwriter (which, in my opinion, is basic for touchscreens) is poorly
supported in Unity 3D.

I have switchable graphics HP tm2 Intel/ATI graphic cards.
Closing the lid worked OK on Natty, just upgraded to Oneric, doesn’t work. When
I close the lid just turn the screen off.

I certainly agree with cjcolella. It is a clear regression. I have a HP
touchsmart tm2, intel i5 core. With Ubuntu 10.04 I had between 5 and 6 hours of
battery. With Ubuntu 11.04 (Kernel 2.6.38-8-generic), between 2,5 and 3 hours.
It is a really huge problem for this distribution.

I tried to change the id 138a:0001 (VFS101) to 138a:0008 (VFS301). It just get
recognised by the fprint_demo, but when you tried to enrol my fingerprints, it
just doesn't read it at all. You should try if it works on the VFS300 and let
