Hi guys, I have a HP touchsmart tm2 as well. I don't have this problem at all and I have enabled virtualization and works like great with Virtualbox and VMware.
I saw that I you may have a different model. My laptop is HP touchsmart tm2-2105eg and it has a hybrid graphic ATI/Intel video card, including the HDMI from ATI and Intel core i5 470UM. I just updated as well the BIOS version to F.25 Either the problem is caused by the BIOS version (you could try to update it, I just did it last week) or by the CPU driver (that in my case works fine) or maybe by the HDMI you have from Intel. Hope this info helps! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/742296 Title: VT issue: "DMAR : unsupported device scope" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/742296/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
